The concept for Gamekeeper?s arose after the creation of the Poacher?s Blend Semillon Sauvignon as it was known then. The thinking was that you can?t have a Poacher unless there is a Gamekeeper, so the red Gamekeeper?s was born. Turkish delight and ripe red berry fruit pastille notes attributed to the Touriga Nacional is prominent on the nose. A spectrum of spicy pepper, tannins and weight of the Shiraz combined with the generous juicy raspberry flavours of Grenache and a rose petal and floral-like spice of Touriga.
