This is release 001 from independent bottlers North Star's new series, South Star, seeing a selection from an undisclosed Speyside distillery. This is a very typical representation of the floral, sweet and delicate style - fruity pears, baked apples & pears, and lemon slice. A syrupy toffee flavour joins a touch of saltiness too. Matured for 10 years from a selection of ex-Hogshead casks.
