New Zealand’s Pounamu vineyard and wines are owned by a family company with talented winemaker, Eveline Fraser (ex-Cloudy Bay) at the helm. The grapes are grown on two terraces of a single vineyard and the difference in the soil adds a complexity to their wines. This Sauvignon Blanc is a bit of a gem; bright and zesty, it’s full of flavour with notes of pink grapefruit and honeydew melon along with a herbal undertone.
