Strong reduction blocks an evaluation of the nose. There is first-rate intensity to the punchy and mineral-driven broad-shouldered flavors that possess excellent power on the equally focused, balanced, firm, highly persistent and youthfully austere finish. Like the Gevrey 1er this is not super dense but even so it is very well balanced. That said, note well that plenty of time will be required before this reaches its full apogee.
