Tullibardine 2012 double matured in custom made casks seasoned with Oloroso & Amontillado Sherries - Soft & Nutty

Firkin 49 I hear you ask? This distillery and the Firkin founder were both founded in 1949. This is a cracker. It?s kinda long but narrow and jam-packed with creamy butterscotch toffee, crisp malt and some fruit oak. The flavours hit you in the back of the throat like a rifle shot and then come back onto the palate and hang around with a tad of cinnamon & sweet biscuit. Easy drinking with good friends. A Firkin charmer indeed.
